SPRING PROGRAM 2011 WITH LYNDALL MCQUINN

Spring is the time for new workshops. I have been so excited about teaching these workshops. The Astrology program this year has been wonderful. Those who have studied with me have grown and enjoyed the insights this series of workshops offers .

SEP 25- SHAMANIC ASTROLOGY:

 DUALITY OF LOVE AND ACHIEVEMENT.

This workshop looks at Venus and Mars. So often we under estimate the power of Venus; this is our desire nature. To lose the meaning of Venus in a gentle image of the goddess of beauty is a far cry from the drive and emotions she arouses in us. Through meditation and movement we will explore the power of our desires.

The afternoon session examines Mars our planet of putting our desires into practice. The relationship between these two illuminates how we achieve the things we want in life.  As a partnership they tell us about our sexuality, how we compete to achieve, what we envy and what drives our anger. The issues highlighted by examining these two planets are a long way from love and harmony. This can be a challenging workshop but one well worth experiencing.

OCT  16 : TAROT ALL DAY IN MELBOURNE

Although I am not a fan of winter I do love to study during these cold , inner days. These two workshops are the result of this study where I will present the new insights that have arisen for me.  

MORNING SESSION : 11-1pm

 MAJOR ARCANA.

Over Winter I have been working with the Tarot by studying the work presented by the Druid Craft Tarot. This work has given me new insights into the Major Arcana from a shamanic perspective. I would love to share these new perspectives in this workshop. So if you love to keep adding onto your knowledge of the Tarot  this workshop will be to your liking.

 AFTERNOON SESSION

MERLINS MIRROR

From the brilliant work of John and Caitlin Mathews, Hallowquest, comes the Tarot spread of Merlins Mirror.  I fell in love with this layout for its complex and its insightful windows to view self and direction. This workshop will explore the placements within this extremely enlightening spread which focuses on personal direction.

AUTUMN PROGRAM 2011 with Lyndall McQuinn

MAR 20: INTRODUCTION TO SHAMANISM
This workshop will be run in Daylesford on March the 20th.
It will have a morning session from 11-1pm and an afternoon session which runs from 2.30 -4.30
Participants can do one session for $75 or both sessions for $130.
MORNING SESSION- Looks at you and how you create the life you live. It will identify your gifts and talents that you have to share with others. It prepares you to stand strongly in yourself.
AFTERNOON SESSION- Turns the attention outwards to the world. It concentrates on how we view the world and the nature of perception. It teaches how to find your place of seeing and from there make decisions on how to tackle situations that arise.

MAY 18: TAROT AS MY COMPANION– MELB
When we are in turmoil, the mind is racing and we have decisions to make, Tarot is an excellent companion. By laying out our cards in clearly defined patterns we can plot our journey. The pictorial nature of Tarot allows us to see ourselves via images and to create a setting to externalise the chaos. Lyndall teaches in this workshop how to befriend your Tarot deck and develop a relationship of trust which you can rely on to guide you throughout your endless processes. MELB 7-9PM

May 22- SHAMANIC ASTROLOGY – DAYLESFORD
Shamanic astrology offers a different perspective on Astrology. It asks you to claim the power centre in the middle of your chart and view the wheel from this perspective.
This workshop will begin with looking at the angles of the Astrology Chart. These angles equate to the directions of a ritual wheel so every time we call in our charts, we call in our own ritual space. We will examine the elemental make up of your charts angles and the way this energy moves.
In the afternoon we will turn our attention to the planets Sun, Venus and Mercury. We will study their placements by meditating and walking in and out of these placements. we will determine how they are weighted within your chart and who dominates. These placements represent the heart of your being, your thinking and communication and your desire nature. This is a major trilogy of planets.
Both sessions cost $130 Morning session runs from 11-1pm and costs $75
Afternoon session runs from 2.30 -4.30pm and cost $75

WINTER PROGRAM

JUN 9 AND 22 – READING AT SOUTH YARRA
JUN 22 : SHAMANIC DREAMING- MELB
Winter is the time for dreaming. We are focussed on our inner worlds and this is when we do our dreaming. This workshop examines the worlds of dreaming. Firstly the night dreaming where we will share your dreams and interpret them from a shamanic viewpoint.
We will move onto the dreaming of the Middle world which is the dream you actually live. Finally we will explore the future dreaming and ways of capturing the dream. You will need to bring a dream to share. MELB 7-9PM COST $75

JUL 24: SHAMANIC ASTROLOGY –DAYLESFORD
Earth Walks – morning session
This will be another all day workshop. In the morning we will look at our Earth Walks. This workshop examines why are we here. It takes an in depth look at the Sun sign and its relationship to the MC. By walking the wheel and examining the polarity we will discover the shadow of ourselves.
Core Trilogy- afternoon session
We extend the mornings learning to add the emotional aspect of our being. The Lunar person and how this relates to the Solar Person. Finally we add the Rising sign and view our personas. We are looking at who we project to the world in this placement. This trilogy is vital to understand how the essential centre of us is vibrating by the elemental breakdown and the mode.
Both sessions $130 or individual $75

AUG 6 – INTRODUCTORY TALK ON ASTROLOGY- WARRNAMBOOL

AUG 18- TAROT- EXPLORING THE MAJOR ARCANA- MELB
The Major Arcana contains a life time of wisdom. Firstly we will view the Major Arcana as a journey through a lifetime and explore the wisdom in the context of these cards. We will then break down this journey into groups of learning which represent human processes. Our final analysis will examine individual cards that are important to each individual at the present time. MELB 7-9PM COST $75

OCT 19- ELEMENTAL MAGIC- MELB
The elements are the basis of nearly all occult systems or even all of life. So simple, fire, earth, water and air. This workshop looks at how these elements are used in ritual and in directions around the ritual wheel. We will learn the individual pentagrams for calling in and banishing elements. Finally we will look at the individual wheels for each element and view them via the process of elemental development through the stages of life from childhood to the ancestor. MELB 7- 9PM COST $75

NOV 16 – TAROT AS THE TEACHER – MELB
The Tarot is full of knowledge about our inner imagery. There are many ways to reflect back to us what we are holding onto inside. This workshop will use the Tarot to explore how to access inner knowledge. We will concentrate on the Court cards and their role as teacher and student. The knowledge of inner journeys held in the minor arcane and the immense wisdom of the major arcane. Melb 7-9pm COST $75.
